About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Procurement professional with a deep background in Strategic Sourcing and/or category management to join our team as a Strategic Sourcing Manager. This individual will have the confidence to lead but the humility to never stop learning, and will share our sense of excellence, will be ready to embrace change, and will never settle for the status quo.

The ideal candidate will be able to apply Strategic Sourcing methods to achieve desired terms, outcomes, and partnerships across multiple direct and indirect spend categories. The ideal candidate will be able to negotiate and implement complex supplier contracts across various professional services spend categories such as Professional Fees, Marketing, Technology, Human Resources, etc.

Key Responsibilities

  • Negotiate and implement enterprise contracts of varying complexity levels.
  • Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships, ensuring the best terms and quality of service.
  • Deepen relationships with key business stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
  • Collaborate closely with the Legal department to ensure all contracts are compliant with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Lead or participate in key cost savings initiatives related to payment terms, supplier standardization, Request for Proposals, etc.
  • Utilize creative problem-solving skills and critical thinking to address and overcome Sourcing or project management challenges.
  • Present ideas and strategies in a polished and professional manner to leadership and other stakeholders.
  • Prioritize and manage competing priorities, using sound judgment to allocate resources effectively.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Deep experience in one or more Strategic Sourcing roles.
  • Experience negotiating Consulting fee arrangements (preferred, not required).
  • Demonstrated experience liaising with Legal departments.
  • Experience in managing multiple projects and contract negotiations simultaneously.
  • Must have strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
