Position Summary:

The Government Sales Executive at Remedi8 Holdings Corp. will be responsible for generating sales opportunities through various channels including industry publications, referrals, and digital research. This role will concentrate on sales and marketing efforts within the public sector, necessitating thorough database management, client documentation preparation, and support for sales objectives and lead generation.

The ideal candidate will possess a solid history of navigating government procurement frameworks, fostering relationships with essential stakeholders, and consistently meeting sales goals in the public sector. Additionally, this individual will be tasked with training, supporting, and managing relationships with channel partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve designated revenue targets through effective channel partner collaboration.
  • Maintain positive and engaging relationships with channel partners.
  • Provide education on our products and services, including ongoing training through webinars, presentations, and meetings.
  • Analyze and report on channel partner performance using metrics such as activity levels, quotes, sales, and revenue.
  • Prepare and submit activity reports, including daily call logs, weekly plans, and monthly territory analyses.
  • Document all activities in the CRM/Salesforce as per standard operating procedures.
  • Work alongside channel partners to create a pipeline of initiatives aimed at increasing sales.
  • Collaborate with the internal sales team to ensure accountability and success through Key Performance Indicators and continuous training.
  • Develop and sustain strong relationships with clients and channel partners.
  • Conduct onsite meetings and presentations with clients.
  • Create client-facing sales presentations, quotes, and proposals.
  • Enhance professional knowledge by reviewing industry publications and participating in professional networks.
  • Demonstrate effective communication skills with all organizational levels, clients, and staff.
  • Maintain timely and professional communication with customers.
  • Consistently focus on achieving or surpassing sales objectives.
  • Exhibit strong closing skills.
  • Be a self-starter, attentive listener, and capable of completing tasks independently and efficiently.
  • Attend industry events and conferences to foster relationships and promote the company.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • At least 3 years of experience in government sales or a related field, with a strong grasp of government procurement processes and regulations.
  • Familiarity with government contracts and compliance requirements, along with the ability to navigate complex bureaucratic environments.
  • Experience with government e-procurement systems is a plus.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and persuade stakeholders.
  • Experience in selling through channel partners is preferred.
  • Experience in selling services to Government and/or Higher Education is advantageous.
  • Proven ability to cultivate and maintain relationships with partners, turning them into advocates.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with experience in presenting to partners and stakeholders.
  • Ability to interact professionally with clients, staff, and channel partners, fostering relationship-building.
  • Professional presentation skills and excellent written and verbal communication capabilities.
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Calendar.
  • Experience in territory management, prospecting, and negotiation.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce (preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, public administration, or 3-5 years of experience in a related field.
  • An advanced degree or certification related to government sales is a plus.
