About the Role

This position is part of the Aeronautics 1LMX Program Planning & Integration (PP&I) team and will report to the Aeronautics 1LMX PPI Manager as part of the Central PPI team. The successful candidate will be responsible for Program Planning on the 1LMX Program, inclusive of cross-Enterprise project management coordination.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain schedules in Deltek Open Plan Professional (OPP) and work in schedules in Microsoft Project.
  • Integrate and assess schedule impacts of proposed work on both existing and future plans.
  • Develop and refine knowledge of Critical Path Methodology and how to apply it in schedule network development and analysis.
  • Develop and refine knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM).
  • Interact across a variety of program functional organizations, such as engineering, procurement, contracts, business management, production, and quality control.
  • Participate in the evaluation of program and project planning and scheduling products and practices.
  • Be instrumental in the resultant remediation activities upon identification of gaps.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated Earned Value Management skills, integrated cost/schedule management.
  • Extensive experience developing and analyzing complex integrated Schedules from high-level Roadmaps.
  • Experience identifying and mitigating risks and opportunities in schedule and cost performance.
  • Experience interfacing and developing strong relationships with Stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline.
Desired Skills
  • Subject Matter Expertise with Deltek Open Plan Professional (OPP) required.
  • Experience with Agile PPM and Agile Program Execution monitoring and reporting.
  • Experience with Milestones Pro and visualizations from OpenPlan data.
  • Experience with resource loading in OPP.
  • Working knowledge of dashboarding and data analytics tools like Tableau.
  • Ability to multi-task and willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed.
  • Emerging experience with executive presence.
  • Willingness to champion 1LMX Transformation within Planning function and cross-functional work groups.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to use critical thinking to solve complex problems.
  • Ability to work in a diverse, fast-paced environment, work complex issues, and meet deadlines.
