Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled PMTEC Simulations Technician and Tech Support Planner to join our team at Valiant Integrated Services. As a key member of our Technical Support Branch, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating all technical requirements for PMTEC and other exercise requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Planning and Coordination: Plan and coordinate all technical requirements for PMTEC and other exercise requirements, ensuring seamless integration of hardware, software, programming, and database tasks.
  • Simulation Systems Operations: Operate simulations systems, including installing, configuring, and updating software as required, to ensure optimal system performance.
  • System Integration and Compliance: Ensure compliance with policies and procedures for system design, programming, documentation, and testing, and monitor system performance to take corrective actions when required.
  • Communication and Support: Ensure all communications between servers, local and remote sites, and clients are fully operational, and provide 24-hour coverage during exercise periods, including working shifts when required.
  • Technical Support and Problem Resolution: Coordinate the identification, resolution, and correction of hardware and software problems, and maintain 100% equipment accountability, including hardware, software, and system accessories.
  • Travel and Training: Must be able to travel CONUS and OCONUS when required, and assist in all other Technical Support Branch operations as needed.
Requirements
  • Technical Knowledge: Demonstrate knowledge in Information Systems and Information Technology as described and required by the task, and a working knowledge of Networking, VMWARE, Red Hat Linux, and Windows.
  • Simulation Exercise Understanding: Understand large-scale distributed simulation exercises and the importance of exceptional customer-contractor relationships.
  • Certifications and Clearances: Must maintain an active SECRET security clearance and be able to obtain and maintain IAT Level II and the appropriate computing environment certifications IAW DoDM such as Security+ CE.
