Territory Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Territory Manager to join our team at US Foods. As a Territory Manager, you will be responsible for developing and managing established and new customers in the South Suburbs of Chicago, selling food and non-food items to achieve sales and profitability goals.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to increase sales and customer satisfaction.
- Sell food and non-food items to new and existing customers, leveraging market intelligence and product knowledge to drive sales growth.
- Manage customer deliveries to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products, resolving any issues that may arise during the order process.
- Collect accounts receivable and work with the credit department to resolve any payment issues.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to penetrate new markets and expand existing customer relationships.
- Stay up-to-date on market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales, sharing this information with customers to provide value-added services.
- 1+ year of sales experience, preferably in the foodservice industry.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on results and customer satisfaction.
- Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
