Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive system documentation.
  • Provide specialized training and technical support for systems and equipment.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies, actively pursuing innovations and collaborating with management to integrate new solutions and enhance existing processes.
  • Implement and manage systems-related security policies and updates to ensure compliance with established security protocols.
  • Create scripts (e.g., PowerShell, VBScript) to automate routine systems administration tasks and gather performance metrics.
  • Oversee Microsoft Active Directory environments, focusing on:
    • Windows Server 2016, 2019.
    • Microsoft Exchange 2016, 2019.
    • Windows SharePoint 2016, 2019.
    • Microsoft SQL 2016, 2019.
    • Group policy design and deployment.
    • Active Directory architecture, including DNS configuration and Sites and Services.
    • MECM configuration and management.
    • Software deployment and upgrades.
    • Maintenance and deployment of Windows 10/11 operating systems.
  • Manage VMware virtual environments, including ESXi hosts, vCenter appliances, VxRail HCIs, and VSANs.
  • Deploy operating system updates as necessary.

Qualifications:
Required:

  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Must possess and maintain a TS/SCI Clearance.
  • Experience with infrastructure components such as data center operations, server hardware, operating systems (Windows, Linux), web servers (IIS, Apache, Tomcat), databases (MS SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL), virtualization (VMware), networking, and storage solutions.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Must meet DoD 8570 requirements and be eligible for IAT level II access upon hire for positions with elevated privileges; ITIL V3 or ITIL V4 Foundation certification is required within six months of hire.
  • Specific certifications may be necessary based on job assignments.
Preferred:
  • VMware VCAP, VCDX certifications.
  • Microsoft MCSA, MCSE, MCITP-EA certifications.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken Spanish.
