Job Title: Medical Research Coordinator Specialist

Medix™ is seeking a skilled Medical Research Coordinator Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth conduct of clinical trials.

About the Role:

  • Obtaining vital signs and ECGs
  • Performing basic lab procedures, including blood specimen collection and centrifuge operation
  • Screening patients for study enrollment and obtaining patient consents
  • Conducting patient follow-up visits and documenting in source clinic charts
  • Entering data into electronic data capture (EDC) systems and responding to queries
  • Requesting and tracking medical record requests
  • Maintaining logs, chart filings, and study-specific supplies
  • Scheduling subjects for study visits and conducting appointment reminders
  • Building and updating source documents as needed
  • Conducting monitoring visits and resolving issues in a timely manner
  • Reviewing study-related reports and patient results with the investigator
  • Filing SAE/Deviation reports to the Sponsor and IRB as needed
  • Documenting and reporting adverse events
  • Reporting non-compliance to relevant staff members in a timely manner
  • Maintaining confidentiality of patients, customers, and company information
  • Performing other duties as requested or assigned
  • Completing necessary activities for study start-up, including training and certificate uploading
  • Preparing and attending site initiation visits and investigator meetings as needed
  • Setting up, training, and maintaining technology required for studies

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Clinical Research Coordinator
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality

Work Schedule:

  • Monday to Thursday: 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM
  • Friday: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
  • 40 hours per week

The estimated salary for this role is $65,000 - $75,000 per year, depending on experience. Medix™ offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.
