Clinical Solutions LLC is a leading provider of pharmacy services, dedicated to delivering high-quality care to our patients. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Pharmacist to join our team as a PRN (as-needed) pharmacist.

Job Summary

The PRN Pharmacist will be responsible for assisting in the daily activities of the pharmacy, including the development, oversight, and monitoring of services, in support of policies, goals, and objectives established by the Pharmacy Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the daily activities of the pharmacy, including the development, oversight, and monitoring of services, in support of policies, goals, and objectives established by the Pharmacy Supervisor.
  • Support an environment that promotes optimal efficiencies, staff retention, and superior quality of business office employees.
  • Review orders for accuracy and clinical appropriateness.
  • Verify all prepared DURs (Drug Utilization Reviews) are accurate and communicate recommendations to clients in a timely manner.
  • Complete quality assurance checks on all orders filled by fulfillment staff prior to dispensing and releasing the orders to shipping.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, employees, and vendors to maintain positive relationships and answer any pharmacist-related calls and/or questions.
Requirements
  • License to practice pharmacy is required in the state of the position is required. Must also be willing to obtain licensure for multiple states, as needed.
  • Ability to think critically and perform tasks efficiently with accuracy.
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to organize and prioritize to maintain productivity.
  • Possess the ability and initiative to plan for and complete daily activities with minimal direction.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment criminal background and drug screening process.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint or other Windows-based software programs.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
  • Proficient in the area of clinical interpretation: drug-drug, drug-disease, drug-food interactions, and allergies.

  • Must be able to bend, stoop, lift, reach, walk, and stand. Must be able to stand for extended periods throughout the workday.
  • Occasional physical effort with light to medium objects. Occasionally required to lift objects 10-25 pounds.
  • Able to reach, carry, finger, grasp, and feel objects related to duties.
