Job Overview

Lou Bachrodt Auto Group is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Automotive Sales Consultant to join our team. As a sales consultant, you will play a critical role in delivering an exceptional customer experience and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Engagement: Build rapport with customers, understand their needs and preferences, and provide personalized recommendations to meet their vehicle requirements.
  • Vehicle Demonstrations: Showcase vehicles, including test drives, to help customers make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Provide regular updates to sales managers on sales objectives, planned activities, and performance metrics.
  • Prospect Development: Maintain a prospect development system to identify and pursue new sales opportunities.
  • Customer Retention: Implement an owner follow-up system to encourage repeat business and referrals.
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, technological advancements, and product knowledge to provide expert advice to customers.
  • Service Department Integration: Introduce customers to our expert service department to highlight the quality and efficiency of our repairs and maintenance services.
Requirements

  • Professional Appearance: Maintain a professional, well-groomed personal appearance to represent our dealership.
  • Education and Certifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; valid in-state driver's license and automobile insurance.
  • Communication Skills: Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage with customers and colleagues.
  • Sales Performance: Meet or exceed sales quotas according to dealership standards.
  • Authorization: Be authorized to work in the US.
