Job Summary

The Trade Compliance Administrator is responsible for handling export and/or import transactions from request for quote to delivery and invoicing, with oversight and guidance from senior trade compliance personnel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transaction processing, transaction due diligence, recordkeeping, tracking and troubleshooting international shipments
  • Coordination with business partners, freight forwarders and customs brokers, and various internal departments
  • Perform data entry in ERP and trade compliance information systems
  • Prepare routine license or permit applications for review and approval by a trade compliance manager
  • Place and release export holds on transactions
  • Review and validate international request for quote, purchase orders and sales orders
  • Prepare and verify export shipping documentation
  • Process and validate routine import shipping documentation
  • Troubleshoot, track and trace domestic and international shipments
Requirements
  • Associate's degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) information systems to perform business transactions
  • Experience with export and/or import regulatory compliance
  • Experience with international business transactions and shipping documents
  • Experience with trade compliance information systems
  • Bilingual or multilingual, including English language
