Environmental Compliance Specialist

Job Summary
As an Environmental Specialist at Kirkhill, Inc., you will play a critical role in implementing and maintaining an Environmental Management System (EMS) that ensures regulatory compliance and effective environmental risk management.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a liaison with local, state, and federal agencies and customers to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
- Develop and implement programs to manage environmental risks and ensure cost-effective compliance with regulatory obligations.
- Collect, analyze, and prepare environmental reports to inform decision-making and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Communicate environmental requirements to site employees, contractors, and customers to ensure a culture of environmental responsibility.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in environmental management in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical information to junior and senior leadership.
- Ability to interact effectively with diverse workforces and customers.
- Valid CA driver's license and US person document.
- Experience with local, state, and federal regulatory agencies and regulations.

Education/Previous Experience Requirements
