POSITION SUMMARYAs an Automotive Service Specialist at Big O Tires, you will conduct diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on passenger vehicles, light trucks, and trailers with precision and efficiency.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Execute repairs and maintenance on vehicles as detailed in the service order.
- Identify issues as described and implement the necessary repairs.
- Conduct road tests to verify that repairs have been executed correctly.
- Accurately document work performed on the service order.
- Communicate diagnostic results and multi-point inspections with your Service Advisor to keep customers informed about their service options.
- Perform warranty repairs as directed by the manufacturer.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- ASE Certification(s) preferred.
- Valid driver's license without restrictions.
- Availability to work holidays, weekends, and after regular business hours as required.
- Reliable transportation to the workplace.
- Ability to learn new concepts and utilize technical materials.
- Proficient in operating a computer and other office equipment.
- Capability to safely operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
- Willingness to handle hazardous materials and work in outdoor conditions.
- Compliance with Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) regulations.
- Ability to lift and move up to 75 pounds.
- Meet company standards including successful pre-employment drug screening, Motor Vehicle Report (MVR), and background checks.
