Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and patient Infant Montessori Teacher to create a warm, safe, and stimulating environment that supports the developmental needs of infants aged 6 weeks to 24 months. The ideal candidate will implement Montessori principles to guide infants through their developmental milestones, fostering a sense of independence and curiosity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that supports the physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development of each child.
  • Design and implement a developmentally appropriate Montessori curriculum for infants.
  • Observe and assess each child's progress, maintaining detailed records and communicating regularly with parents about their child's development.
  • Foster a sense of independence and curiosity in infants through hands-on learning experiences and individualized attention.
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive and supportive educational environment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized classroom that adheres to health and safety standards.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and stay current with best practices in Montessori education and early childhood development.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
  • Montessori (MACTE) certification for infants (0-3 years) from a recognized Montessori training center.
  • Strong understanding of Montessori principles and child development.
  • Experience working with infants in a Montessori setting is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create a warm and nurturing environment for infants.
  • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
