As the Assistant Manager of Railyard Operations, you will support the Terminal Manager in various aspects of railyard management, including safety protocols, administrative tasks, maintenance oversight, and optimizing train performance and productivity.

Responsibilities:
Assistant Manager of Railyard Operations
Collaborates with Terminal Managers to ensure Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are achieved, including Train Performance, Lifts per Hour, and Cost per Hour.
Fosters and drives existing personnel to improve Engagement and Retention within the Terminal.
Establishes cooperative relationships between ITS Technology and Logistics, LLC and local railroad officials.
Serves as the primary liaison between ITS Technology and Logistics, LLC and our clientele.
Implements and enforces all company policies, regulations, and guidelines.
Addresses violations with sensitivity and administers disciplinary measures when necessary.
Oversees and approves terminal expenditures for payment and manages purchases within the allocated budget.
Validates weekly time and attendance records, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Collaborates with Talent Acquisition to guarantee the Terminal is adequately staffed.
Manages the Training and Orientation process for all employees to ensure their continued success.
Provides Terminal Metrics and Reports as required.
Other responsibilities as assigned (both administrative and non-administrative).

Qualifications:
Requirements:
Must possess 3-5 years of experience in Intermodal, Transportation, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management.
1-3 years of leadership experience is required.
A Bachelor's degree is preferred or equivalent experience.
Exceptional organizational, multitasking, and time management skills are essential.
Excellent communication skills are mandatory.
Proficiency in Outlook and the MS Office suite is required.
A strong work ethic is crucial.
Open availability is necessary (including shifts, weekends, and holidays).
Willingness to work in varying weather conditions is expected.
