As an Operations Manager at Compass Group Careers, you will play a critical role in directing and overseeing the support services operational needs of the department. Key Responsibilities- Establish and Maintain Operational Standards: Develop and annually review standards and work procedures for all staff to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Staffing and Scheduling: Plan work and staffing schedules to ensure adequate services are rendered, and make adjustments as needed to meet changing operational demands.
- Staff Development and Training: Assist in the hiring process, interview, hire, and train new associates, and orient, develop, and supervise all supervisory/housekeeping staff.
- Quality Control and Assurance: Conduct regular inspections and make recommendations to the facility to ensure high-quality services are provided.
- Reporting and Communication: Conduct monthly reporting of goals, accomplishments, and future plans, and communicate effectively with staff, administration, and other departments.
- Continuous Improvement: Provide staff education and continuous training to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their jobs effectively.
- Experience: 4 years of support services, military, housekeeping, and/or facilities maintenance experience, with at least 1 year of supervisory experience in a support service-related field with high customer/client contact.
- Skills: Ability to communicate effectively in written format and oral presentations, ability to multi-task and establish priorities, ability to maintain organization in a changing and stressful environment, and exhibit initiative, responsibility, flexibility, and leadership.
- Education: Bachelor's degree is preferred.
