Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize Electronic Medical Records to reconcile payments from insurance providers.
  • Manage Accounts Receivable and oversee medical billing processes.
  • Assist patients in understanding their Explanation of Benefits (EOB).
  • Handle Worker's Compensation and auto claims documentation.
  • Post insurance payments through both paper and electronic methods (EMR).
  • Print claims for Worker's Compensation and Auto insurance carriers.
  • Provide explanations of EOBs to patients as necessary.
  • Experience with WebPT or similar EMRs is advantageous.

Qualifications:

  • Associate Degree in Billing or Coding is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical Accounts Receivable or Medical Billing.
  • Proficient in navigating online insurance platforms.
  • Advanced skills in Electronic Medical Records.
  • Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor.
  • Experience with Explanation of Benefits is a plus.
  • At least 1 year of experience in AR/Billing within a healthcare environment.
  • Familiarity with EMR systems, including electronic filing, denials, and account aging.
  • Ability to effectively navigate insurance websites.
  • Must demonstrate a warm, enthusiastic, and friendly attitude in interactions with clients and team members.
  • Experience in EOB and payment posting is preferred.
