Job Title: Behavioral Health Director

Culmen International is seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Health Director to lead our clinical services team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for the daily leadership and oversight of all clinical services provided within our program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Continuously monitor the well-being of youth in care and arrange for appropriate services as needed.
  • Actively participate with community members to expand our agency network for client services.
  • Ensure the quality and enhancement of child care services in accordance with our organization's policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other departments to utilize strength-based and culturally sensitive practices.
  • Oversee the submission of incident reports and documentation required for program compliance.
  • Provide information that supports identifying needs, strengths, and areas of growth for youth adaptation.
  • Work alongside clinical leads to identify goals, strengths, and needs in the development of risk assessments, crisis plans, and plans of care.
  • Provide ongoing clinical support with de-escalation techniques, crisis interventions, and logistics of emergency situations.
  • Ensure clinical staff receive ongoing training to enhance clinical skills.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in social work, sociology, or relevant behavioral science.
  • Minimum of three years clinical employment experience in behavioral science.
  • Minimum of one year supervisory experience.
  • Minimum of two years experience working with youth in inpatient, residential, or detention facilities, or those with high-risk backgrounds.
  • Must be licensed to provide clinical services in the state where the care provider is located.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age at the time of hire.
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish (verbal and written) preferred.
  • Possess a valid Driver's License.
  • Possess a clear Tuberculosis test.
  • Ability to successfully clear a background check.
  • Ability to successfully clear a drug screening.
  • Provide immunization documentation for Tdap, Varicella, MMR, Hepatitis A and B, Varicella.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer.
