Maintenance Specialist

At Packaging Corporation of America, we're seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at our Box Plant in Northampton, MA. As a key member of our maintenance team, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our plant equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of maintenance tasks, including diagnosing, repairing, rebuilding, or replacing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on plant equipment.
- Work as part of a team to safely perform Preventive Maintenance Activities and answer breakdown calls in a production environment.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of plant equipment and systems to effectively troubleshoot and repair issues.
Requirements:
- 2+ years' experience in successfully troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery.
- A technical degree in the mechanical or electrical trades is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
