As a Radio Maintenance Technician at the State of Massachusetts, you will be responsible for installing, inspecting, and testing radio transmitting and receiving equipment. Your duties will include examining equipment for damaged components and loose/broken connections, making replacements or repairs, and following diagrams and specifications.

  • Install fixed mobile radio transmitting and receiving equipment using hand tools and measuring instruments.
  • Examine and inspect equipment for damaged components and loose/broken connections.
  • Make replacements or repairs as needed.
  • Test radio transmitting and receiving equipment to ensure proper function.
