Job Description

The Buchanan Company is seeking an experienced Account Executive to represent the industry and market leader while building on our 80 years of success with contractors, builders, owners, and designers throughout the country.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Increased customer satisfaction and closing through communication and relationship building.
  • Bid creation, issuance, and closing based on industry expertise and proactive follow-up.
  • Become a product expert, leveraging the opportunities and challenges chutes bring.
  • Become a key member of a supportive and successful team.

Qualifications:

  • High level of knowledge on how buildings are built, experienced in simple and complex contracts and type V construction.
  • Proven experience of relationship-based sales in a similar trade and market.
  • Expert at needs analysis, pricing, quoting, negotiating, and closing.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to learn hundreds of products, systems, methods, and codes quickly.

Compensation and Benefits:

$68,000 - $90,000 annually, plus comprehensive benefits and advancement opportunities.
