Position Overview:
As a vital member of the healthcare team, the Advanced Practice Nurse Specialist is responsible for delivering comprehensive primary care services. This includes thorough assessments, accurate diagnoses, effective treatment plans, and patient education.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct detailed health assessments, including patient history and physical examinations.
2. Evaluate diagnostic tests and incorporate findings into patient care strategies.
3. Develop and implement care plans in alignment with established policies and available resources.
4. Engage patients and their families in the care planning process.
5. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and assess treatment effectiveness.
6. Prescribe appropriate pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies within the scope of practice.
7. Provide education to patients and families regarding health conditions and treatment options.
8. Document patient interactions and care plans accurately and promptly.
9. Participate in the education and mentorship of healthcare professionals and students.
10. Engage in professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of two years' experience in an acute care environment is preferred.
- Certification in specialty areas as required.
