Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Coordinator to join our team at Oakland University. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for coordinating various HR-related activities, including recruitment, hiring, and employee relations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate recruitment efforts, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and conducting interviews.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Provide support for employee relations, including conflict resolution and employee communications.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of employee data, including personnel files and benefits information.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of HR services.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in HR, preferably in a higher education setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
