Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to perform ultrasound procedures, position patients, and operate equipment to obtain high-quality scans. The successful candidate will work closely with radiologists to ensure optimal outcomes and provide exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Position patients and select technical factors to obtain optimal quality scans
  • Operate portable ultrasound equipment for procedures throughout the hospital
  • Assist radiologists with recommendations for technical factors and procedures
  • Deliver patient care and maintain department standards of quality improvement
  • Prepare ultrasound rooms with necessary supplies and equipment
  • Utilize phone etiquette and maintain patient confidentiality
  • Transport patients and maintain a timely flow of patients in room assignments or work areas
  • Document patient records and maintain accurate statistics
Requirements
  • ARDMS Registry eligible
  • ARDMS Registry to be successfully completed within first year of employment
  • CPR Certification
  • Ability to adjust to flexible hours and work odd hours
  • Ability to stand for long periods and perform lifting activities
  • Exposed to radiation and able to operate portable equipment
