We are seeking an experienced National Channel Account Manager to join our team at EV Connect. As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for leading and managing a channel network to drive revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and maintain influential partner relationships with distributors, resellers, and strategic partners.
- Manage client revenue generation goals and lead channel partnerships nationwide.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing leadership to develop strategic plans to increase channel revenue.
- Recruit, onboard, and support new channel partners.
- Manage and develop executive-level relationships with customers and partners.
- Create growth-oriented sales plans for new and existing channel partners.
- Build and manage pipeline in a solution-selling environment that tracks opportunities through a 3-9 month sales cycle.
- Drive the entire sales cycle, from prospect engagement/qualification to customer purchase order.
- Educate partners and their customers on EV market and charging solutions.
- Manage opportunities in CRM (HubSpot) and record key activities on prospect and customer interactions.
- Provide ongoing reporting and transparency through CRM.
- Have a deep understanding of incentive and rebate programs and their impact on opportunities.
- Provide forecasts on best-case and most-likely sales volumes over relevant time periods.
- 2-5+ years of professional experience building relationships with resellers, channel partners, VARS, and distributors.
- Proven success meeting sales objectives through channel sales.
- Strong written and verbal communications, excellent presentation skills.
- Self-directed, able to work independently, as well as work in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions and drive success.
- Experience using a CRM system, e.g., HubSpot.
- A passion for sustainability, electric vehicles, and/or clean transportation is a plus.
- Proven track record developing and negotiating strategic partnerships, contracts, and alliances.
- Ability to work autonomously, be a team player, self-motivated, and influential.
- Software/SaaS/hardware sales experience.
- Understanding of construction bid process.
- Skilled multitasker, comfortable with hyper growth challenges.
- Undergraduate degree.
