Position Overview

We are in search of a Sales Executive specializing in commercial vehicles who is eager to embark on a fulfilling sales journey with Navistar. Comprehensive training will be provided regarding our products, equipping you with the essential tools to engage potential clients.

This role will be stationed at our Used Truck Center in Atlanta.

Navistar's Used Truck Organization (UTO) plays a crucial role in our operations, managing 13 Used Truck Centers (UTC's) across North America.

The UTO oversees significant assets primarily acquired through new truck trade agreements with major U.S. fleet companies. Our UTC's are involved in extensive retail, wholesale, and export dealings, with a predominant inventory of International brand class 8 trucks alongside a variety of competing brands.

Key Responsibilities

- Undergo sales and systems training from the General Manager, UTC Staff, and Corporate Training Resources.
- Acquire industry-specific sales strategies.
- Gain knowledge about our diverse product range.
- Assist the General Manager in managing online and print marketing materials.
- Identify sales prospects and document activities in our CRM system.
- Follow up on warm leads and conduct prospecting cold calls.
- Engage with customers in face-to-face sales scenarios.
- Learn to conduct truck appraisals, inspections, and manage incoming inventory check-ins.
- Stay informed about current inventory and participate in its management.
- Develop quotes and invoices.

Minimum Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree
- OR
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in outside or inside sales.

Additional Requirements


Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restrictions (U.S. Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee, or Asylee).
Navistar does not foresee providing employment-related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status).
Ability to obtain and maintain CDL status (Commercial Driver's License).

Desired Skills

- Proven sales ability with a successful track record.
- In-depth knowledge of truck specifications for International and competitor brands.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

Benefits and Compensation


Navistar offers a competitive total rewards package that aligns with applicable skills, knowledge, and experience, as well as market practices.

The annual base salary for this position is $72K, plus commission.
