Position: Maintenance Stockroom Clerk

ROLE SUMMARY:
The Maintenance Stockroom Clerk is responsible for supporting the Plant Engineer by executing a variety of tasks associated with plant upkeep and stockroom management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Procure and requisition materials, components, and supplies for the Maintenance Departments across both plants.
  • Receive and verify incoming goods against established specifications.
  • Label and distribute parts into the inventory system.
  • Oversee inventory management and perform regular stock counts.
  • Organize and replenish stock on shelves, maintain spare parts inventory, and update equipment maintenance records.
  • Maintain accurate files and ensure adherence to operational procedures.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities, schedule preventive maintenance tasks, and monitor inventory levels.
  • Provide administrative assistance to the Plant Engineer and conduct compliance audits.
  • Document services rendered and provide guidance on various operational tasks.
QUALIFICATIONS:
To excel in this position, candidates should possess a high school diploma (or equivalent) and a minimum of three years of relevant experience. Proficiency in inventory management systems and software is essential, along with strong communication, mathematical, and analytical skills. A valid Class 'C' Driver's License is also required.
