POSITION SUMMARY:

Accountable for the upkeep and repair of commercial landscaping machinery and tools.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in equipment maintenance and repair

Licenses or Certifications

  • Valid driver's license issued by the state of employment, with a clean driving record

Specialized Skills

  • Proficient knowledge of mowing and landscaping machinery
  • Expertise in small engine and two-cycle engine repairs
  • Ability to identify issues, gather information, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Capacity to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Basic to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Possession of personal tools
  • Fundamental mathematical skills
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend English
  • Spanish communication skills preferred

  • Conduct routine maintenance on commercial landscaping equipment
  • Perform diagnostic troubleshooting and repairs
  • Effectively communicate shop requirements and concerns with management
  • Adhere to company policies and safety protocols
