Job Overview

We are in search of a Project Manager - ERP to enhance our operations.

Position Summary:

JW Affinity IT is looking for a dedicated and proficient Project Manager - ERP. This role entails supervising the deployment of an ERP system within an organization. The qualified Information Technology Project Manager will take charge of complex system and infrastructure initiatives, including the planning, management, and execution of assigned projects across the organization.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Thorough understanding of the PMBOK framework, demonstrating the capability to plan and execute projects in alignment with this methodology, adapting it as necessary.
  • Proficient in resolving issues, influencing team members and stakeholders, conducting challenging negotiations, and managing tight deadlines for project deliverables.
  • Exhibits a deep understanding of business and technology organization, resources, priorities, needs, and policies.
  • Provides mentorship and guidance to project managers.
  • Demonstrates leadership in executing complex programs and projects, with experience in both Waterfall and Agile Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Ability to clarify ambiguous assignments and strong proficiency in MS Office Suite and MS Project.
  • Organizes and leads a cross-functional project team.
  • Guides technical staff to extract insights from their previous project and technical experiences.
  • Ensures all commitments are fulfilled in line with project goals and objectives.
  • Exhibits a high level of customer service and empathy while adhering to project constraints.
  • Promotes and consistently applies project methodologies, processes, and tools.
  • Exceptional client-facing and internal communication skills, with the executive presence to provide status updates and prepare comprehensive documentation for executive-level review.
  • Manages change, assesses information, formulates action plans, and mitigates risks to minimize delays and costs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, IT, or a comparable combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in project management consulting, particularly in managing ERP implementations or process improvement roles.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and implementation methodologies.
  • PMP certification or equivalent project management certification is preferred.
  • Experience in leading highly technical teams.
  • Experience in systems configuration and/or integration completed by third-party vendors.
  • Experience in conducting business analysis and drafting Business Requirements Documents (BRD), along with mentoring or training project managers.

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office; MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Outstanding presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Exceptional executive communication and presentation abilities.
