The Production Specialist is responsible for the fabrication of special powders and components, weighing up to 50 pounds each, while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards.

Key responsibilities include supporting operational tasks to meet project requirements, including material batching and mixing, powder processing, forming, furnace and kiln loading/unloading, and maintaining process equipment.

Additionally, the Production Specialist will prepare and test samples using laboratory analytical equipment, including LECO chemical analysis, density measurements, dimensional measurements, and others.

Operation of overhead cranes, forklifts, and other mobile equipment as needed is also a key responsibility.

A diverse set of skills, including strong mechanical aptitude, is required to work collaboratively with a team for equipment disassembly, repair, and troubleshooting.

High school diploma, GED, or trade school degree in mechanical/electrical trades is required. Preference for candidates with experience in a manufacturing environment.

Ability to perform material handling, weighing, completing process steps in sequence, and documenting process data is essential.

Flexible with schedule changes and able to work a 12-hour rotating shift.
