Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to lead our Front of House operations at Maxime's, a new fine dining restaurant in New York City.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operations of the Front of House, ensuring exceptional service standards and member satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with all departments to promote a team culture and passion for hospitality, food, and beverage.
  • Set an example for impeccable service, maintaining the ability to step into any role in the restaurant in the absence of staff or during moments of high volume.
  • Manage all aspects of service on a daily basis, including pre-shift meetings, dining room service, and maintaining the safety and security of all employees, members, and company assets.
  • Work closely with the Director of Restaurants on workforce planning, ensuring appropriate staffing levels for current and future business needs.
  • Operate the business within established budgetary parameters, contributing to achieving company financial objectives.
Requirements
  • Previous management experience in a fine dining restaurant or hotel environment, preferably in New York City.
  • Restaurant Management Certification or college degree in a related field, preferred.
  • Proficiency in a variety of technology systems, including Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, Google Suite, POS platforms, reservation management platforms, and various business analysis programs.
  • Current NYC Food Protection Certificate.
