Job Overview

We are seeking a licensed insurance agent to service our North Market territory. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing tailored insurance solutions, building strong client relationships, and contributing to the growth and success of our agency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to generate new business and expand our client base in the North Market.
  • Conduct thorough insurance needs assessments for individuals and businesses, recommending appropriate coverage options.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and processing policy changes.
  • Collaborate with team members and insurance companies to ensure accurate policy issuance and timely claims processing.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and product offerings to effectively advise clients and maintain compliance.
  • Represent Reliabank Dakota at networking events, community gatherings, and industry conferences to enhance brand visibility and foster business partnerships.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics established by the agency.
Requirements
  • Must hold a valid South Dakota insurance agent license.
  • Previous experience in insurance sales or related field preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
  • Excellent negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with insurance industry software is a plus.
