As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be the primary point of contact for individuals and families using our services, providing exceptional care and support during a difficult time.

This role requires a unique blend of empathy, attention to detail, and task management skills. You'll work closely with our Care Coordinator and Funeral Director to ensure seamless communication and timely completion of arrangements. Your goal is to provide the highest level of customer support and care, ensuring that every family's needs are met with dignity and respect.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer support and care to individuals and families using our services
  • Work closely with Care Coordinator and Funeral Director to ensure seamless communication and timely completion of arrangements
  • Finalize and fulfill final arrangements, ensuring all necessary documents are created, sent, and signed
  • Outreach to family members via phone or text to arrange services and provide updates
  • De-escalate calls and help families in grief, providing a calm and professional empathetic tone
  • Follow internal communication procedures, guidelines, and policies
  • Ensure all tasks are completed for each case in a timely manner

Requirements:

  • Strong background in customer service (1+ years)
  • Goal-oriented and driven to succeed
  • Task-driven and efficient, with strong background in making deadlines
  • Adaptable and teachable, with a willingness to learn and improve
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build trust with individuals quickly
  • Ability to speak calmly and in a professional empathetic tone at all times
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Previous experience within the funeral industry is encouraged, but not required
