Job Overview

A Receivables Management Specialist is sought for a consulting role with a reputable organization. The successful candidate will oversee the receivables management process, which encompasses invoicing, collections, and account reconciliation. This position will also involve general ledger accounting duties and support during closing periods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate and dispatch precise invoices to clients promptly.
  • Manage all tasks related to billing efficiently.
  • Review accounts receivable aging reports and pursue outstanding payments.
  • Engage with clients to address payment concerns and rectify discrepancies.
  • Accurately record and apply customer payments within the accounting system.
  • Resolve payment discrepancies and maintain proper documentation.
  • Support month-end closing processes, including journal entries associated with receivables.
  • Prepare and sustain reconciliations for accounts related to the general ledger.
  • Create regular reports on accounts receivable for management assessment, including aging reports and cash flow forecasts.
  • Assist in compiling financial statements to ensure accurate reporting of receivables.

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of three years' experience in accounts receivable roles.
  • Fundamental knowledge of general ledger accounting and month-end closing activities.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Capability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
