POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting directly to the Practice Administrator, the HIM Specialist undertakes a range of administrative tasks within the Health Information Management department. Your responsibilities will include data entry, document scanning, and effective communication with patients, insurance providers, and medical professionals, ensuring the seamless functioning of our operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Accurately input patient data into medical records and practice management systems
- Manage incoming calls with professionalism and efficiency
- Facilitate patient care by processing referrals and diagnostic requests
- Engage in clear communication with patients and healthcare collaborators
- Maintain comprehensive documentation within electronic medical records
- Perform various administrative tasks to support departmental functions
SUPERVISORY ROLE
This position does not entail any supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS
