Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Financial Operations Manager to oversee our financial, HR, and IT functions. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with senior leadership and make a meaningful impact across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Leadership: Manage and oversee all day-to-day accounting functions, including general ledger, month-end close, and financial reporting.
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and analyze results for management and stakeholder reporting.
  • Financial Controls and Compliance: Ensure timely and accurate processing of transactions, reconciliations, and adjustments. Develop and implement financial controls and guidelines to maintain efficiency and minimize risk.
  • Payroll and Benefits Administration: Oversee payroll processing and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations. Manage employee benefits administration, onboarding, and HR documentation.
  • Credit and Collections: Oversee the credit approval process and manage customer credit limits and collections. Implement and monitor credit policies to minimize risk and maintain cash flow stability.
  • Technology and Infrastructure: Act as a liaison with IT vendors to resolve issues and manage system updates. Ensure security and compliance within the company's IT infrastructure.
  • Leadership and Development: Directly supervise and mentor two team members, fostering growth and maintaining high-performance standards. Build a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles, ideally in a small to mid-sized company.
  • Familiarity with HR and IT systems and practices; experience with accounting and ERP software preferred.

Compensation

This is a full-time onsite position in Stamford, Connecticut, offering a competitive salary range of $110,000-$160,000 depending on experience.
