About the Role

We are looking for a talented Senior Financial Specialist to be responsible for day-to-day accounting functions, including lease management, financial reporting, and analysis. The successful candidate will possess excellent technical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage lease transactions, including rental revenues, aircraft maintenance revenues, and reserves
  • Prepare lease classification tests and straight-line rental revenue calculations in accordance with ASC 842
  • Assist with lease accounting analyses and adjustments for extensions, amendments, transitions, sales, and terminations
  • Prepare month-end close accounting journal entries and period-end General Ledger account reconciliations
  • Develop and maintain the Revenue master file and related analytics
  • Support internal and external reporting through creation of analyses and schedules related to leases and aircraft
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting; Master's is a plus
  • 4+ years of accounting experience; lease accounting experience ideal
  • Experience with general ledger/reporting systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365)
Compensation Package

The estimated salary range for this position is $85,000-$110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits include comprehensive health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
