Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will oversee financial, HR, and IT functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across departments. Direct management of two team members is required, along with close collaboration with other departments to support their needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger management, month-end close, and financial reporting.
  • Analyze results for management and stakeholder reporting, preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Evaluate and implement financial controls and guidelines to ensure accurate processing of transactions, reconciliations, and adjustments.
  • Prepare and manage annual budgets, assisting the outside audit firm with year-end financial audits.
  • Liaise with a CPA firm to execute Federal and State Income Tax returns preparation.
  • Supervise accounts payable processes, vendor payments, and maintain positive vendor relationships.
  • Manage customer credit limits and collections, implementing and monitoring credit policies to minimize risk.
  • Ensure payroll processing compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Manage employee benefits administration, onboarding, and HR documentation.
  • Support recruiting efforts and performance management processes as needed.
  • Maintain the integrity of financial and HR systems, identifying and implementing software improvements where necessary.
  • Act as a liaison with IT vendors to resolve issues and manage system updates.
  • Guarantee security and compliance within the company's IT infrastructure.

Estimated Salary: $110,000-$160,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification preferred.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles, ideally in a small to mid-sized company.
  • Familiarity with HR and IT systems and practices; experience with accounting and ERP software is beneficial.
