Customer Service Representative

We are seeking a skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team at Careline Health Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth delivery of our services to patients and families.
Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for converting referrals for delivery of services, receiving referrals, data entry, answering inquiries, and disseminating information about the agency. You will also assist with the daily operations of the agency and establish and maintain efficient systems for patient referral, coordination, data entry, and communications to support the department in securing referrals.
Required Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent, a current and valid Driver's License, and reliable transportation and valid automobile insurance coverage. You will also need to have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate professionally and effectively with employees and receive patient referrals. Additionally, you will need to have knowledge of medical terminology and be able to demonstrate problem-solving skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
Desired Qualifications
While not required, we prefer candidates with an Associate Degree, 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting, and familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems. You will also need to be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and have data entry skills.
Work Environment
This role is based in our office location at 801 Rosehill Road, Jackson MI 49208. You will work Monday through Friday, with office hours from 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm, and will be required to participate in a weekend rotation every 3 weeks.

Careline Health Group conducts a background screening upon acceptance of a contingent job offer. This is completed by a third-party administrator, the Michigan Long-Term Care Partnership, and is performed in compliance with the Fair Credit Report Act.
