Nursing Manager Medical Oncology Center Full Time Days

Desert Regional Medical Center is a leading healthcare provider in the region, offering a wide range of medical services, including cancer care. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursing Manager to join our team in the Medical Oncology Center.
Job Summary:The Nursing Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Medical Oncology Center, ensuring that patients receive high-quality care in a safe and efficient manner. This includes supervising nursing staff, managing budgets, and implementing quality improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and manage nursing staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating employees.
- Develop and implement budgets for the Medical Oncology Center, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive comprehensive care.
- Implement quality improvement initiatives, including developing and monitoring quality metrics and implementing changes to improve patient outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including The Joint Commission and other relevant laws and regulations.
- Current CA RN License
- Current American Heart Association BLS Certification
- Oncology background
- Ambulatory care background
- Management/leadership skills
- Teaching/education skills
- Public speaking experience and adequate writing skills
- 3 Years experience in a supervisory role
- Knowledge of hospital operations, rules and regulations
- Business and Program development
- Physician relations and physician recruiting
- Healthcare management
- Customer service
- CQI-(working knowledge and understanding of this function
- Staff development
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to mediate and diffuse conflict

Full-time position, days only
Compensation:$116,480 - $187,200 per year, depending on experience
