Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure adherence to sanitation and safety standards.
  • Facilitate meal delivery directly to residents.
  • Implement therapeutic diet guidelines, maintaining proper food temperatures and serving times.
  • Educate and guide department staff on dietary functions.
  • Oversee the planning, preparation, and serving of therapeutic diets.
  • Maintain adequate inventory levels as per policy.
  • Develop menus that align with therapeutic dietary guidelines.
  • Monitor compliance with menu plans and make necessary adjustments.
  • Ensure the quality and quantity of food service delivery.
  • Demonstrate proper safety techniques in food handling.
  • Uphold privacy practices to protect residents' health information.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics from an accredited institution.
  • Current registration as a dietitian by the Committee of Dietetic Registration.
  • Preferred: Minimum of one year of supervisory experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Preferred: Training in food management and diet therapy.
