Job Overview

As a key member of the EngineerIT team, the Project Engineer will play a crucial role in the design, development, and implementation of custom foundry equipment and heavy industrial applications. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in engineering, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Cost Estimation: Develop and implement design solutions for custom foundry equipment and heavy industrial applications, ensuring adherence to customer specifications and industry standards.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Supervise and conduct testing on materials provided by customers, covering processes such as casting cooling, sand screening, casting orientation, and conveyance. This testing will be conducted in our laboratory or at a customer's facility.
  • Equipment Engineering: Oversee the development of equipment engineering drawings, both customer approval and manufacturing, by directing and guiding designers. This may require visits to the customer's facility for measurements, interface verification, and evaluation of existing plant processes.
  • Technical Consultation: Offer technical consultation to internal teams and customers, resolving field issues as they arise. Occasional visits to the customer's facility will be required.
  • Project Management: Efficiently manage projects, delegating tasks both internally and externally, and oversee multiple projects across different phases.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate effectively with various stakeholders, including internal departments, sales representatives, vendors, and customers.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Ensure completion of all documentation requirements as per customer specifications.
  • Equipment Startup: Assist in equipment startup, whether remotely or on-site at the job location.
