About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Gaming Agent I to join our team at the Massachusetts Gaming Commission. As a Gaming Agent I, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity of our gaming operations and maintaining a fair and transparent regulatory environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regulatory investigations and prepare detailed reports to identify and address any potential issues or non-compliance with gaming laws and regulations.
  • Monitor casino activities, including revenue and gaming operations, to ensure compliance with all laws and regulations.
  • Assist in detecting and investigating any violations of gaming laws or regulations, and prepare reports for the Gaming Agent III.
  • Collaborate with federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies to ensure effective and efficient regulation.
  • Provide testimony to any appropriate hearing or court as necessary.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent and minimum three years working in an office or casino environment; or a bachelor's degree; or an equivalent of education and experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to listen intently and follow directions from multiple authorities.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
