Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Child Development Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing educational programs that promote cognitive, social, and emotional growth in children ages 0-5.

You will create a safe and engaging learning environment that fosters creativity, curiosity, and a love for learning. As a Child Development Coordinator, you will work closely with parents and other educators to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement educational programs that meet the unique needs of each child
  • Create a safe and engaging learning environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive growth
  • Work closely with parents and other educators to ensure seamless communication and collaboration
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required by state and federal regulations
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date on best practices in early childhood education

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent, with 45 clock hours/CDA accepted with experience
  • An Associate degree or higher in a related field preferred
  • Two years of experience in a licensed child care center with supervisory experience
  • Completion of the minimum number of academic hours required for teaching the special educational level assigned
  • A valid Child Development License, CDA, or State teaching certification, or enrollment in completion within the first nine months of employment
