The role of the Senior Custodial Supervisor is pivotal within the Veterinary Teaching Hospital. This position oversees the custodial staff during weekends and evenings, ensuring that all areas of the facility maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership: Act as the primary lead for custodial personnel, coordinating schedules and ensuring effective coverage during shifts.
  • Training: Facilitate the onboarding and training of new custodial staff, ensuring they are well-versed in cleaning protocols and procedures.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections of cleaning activities to uphold quality standards and address any issues promptly.
  • Operational Support: Provide hands-on support in cleaning and disinfecting various areas of the hospital as needed.
  • Supply Management: Monitor and restock custodial supplies to ensure all necessary materials are available for staff.
Qualifications

Applicants should possess a high school diploma or GED and have experience in a commercial cleaning environment. Preferred candidates will have experience in medical custodial services and familiarity with custodial equipment.
