Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Veterinary Receptionist to join our team at Southern Veterinary Partners. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional client service, ensuring seamless communication with our veterinary team, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and place calls to clients for scheduling purposes
  • Prioritize multiple tasks in a calm and organized manner
  • Maintain proper documentation through client and pet records
  • Assist clients with necessary instructions, information, and invoices
  • Schedule future appointments and manage hospital computer systems
  • Manage financial needs of the hospital, including collection of client transactions and cash handling procedures
Requirements
  • Excellent customer service skills and professional communication
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of veterinary medical terminology and procedures
  • Flexible schedule, including weekend and holiday shifts
  • Experience with veterinary software preferred
