Job Title: Seasonal Executive Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Seasonal Executive Chef to lead our culinary team at Relais & Châteaux designated hotel and restaurant in Maine. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

Responsibilities:
  • Menu Planning: Develop and implement daily and weekly menus that showcase fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
  • Culinary Leadership: Oversee kitchen staff, provide coaching and development opportunities, and maintain a positive and professional work environment.
  • Food Cost Management: Estimate food requirements, manage food and labor costs, and ensure compliance with nutrition and sanitation regulations.
  • Guest Experience: Deliver exceptional dining experiences for our guests, including fine dining service, casual dining, and breakfast service.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience as an Executive Chef in a fine dining restaurant.
  • Culinary Skills: Proven ability to create innovative and delicious menus, manage kitchen staff, and maintain high food quality standards.
  • Leadership: Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
