Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Rick Erwins Dining Group.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to train and develop line cooks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage kitchen operations to ensure high-quality food production and exceptional customer service.
  • Develop and implement menu planning, inventory management, and food safety protocols.
  • Train and mentor line cooks to improve their skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with the executive chef to achieve culinary excellence and consistency across all locations.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of experience as a sous chef in a high-volume restaurant environment.
  • Prior culinary training and a strong understanding of kitchen operations.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work 50-55 hours per week.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Word.
