Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Luggage Safely: Drive delivery box truck safely and lawfully on highways and local streets, ensuring the secure transportation of passenger luggage.
  • Communicate Effectively: Report on daily delivery status to dispatcher and supervisors, maintaining open communication channels to ensure seamless operations.
  • Maintain Vehicle and Equipment: Keep vehicles, ramp areas, and line equipment clean and orderly, performing daily vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Operate Radio and Communication Systems: Utilize radio to communicate with dispatcher and supervisors, adhering to strict safety and quality standards.
Requirements
  • Age and Driver's License: Be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle record.
  • Education and Qualifications: Completed high-school diploma or GED equivalent, authorized to work in the United States, and successfully pass the post-offer pre-employment screening.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 70lbs, push a loaded luggage cart up to 500lbs, and perform basic math calculations.
  • Customer Service and Communication Skills: Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills required to interact with customers and colleagues.
Appearance Guidelines

Employees are expected to present a professional business-like image at all times, adhering to the company's appearance guidelines. This includes clean and well-maintained approved uniforms, clean shaven appearance, and no visible tattoos or body piercings.

Work Environment

The Luggage Delivery Driver will work in a fast-paced environment, frequently required to use hands and fingers, communicate with customers and colleagues, and perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and twisting. The employee must be able to move in a relatively quick manner and have specific vision abilities, including close vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.
