Job Overview

Bags, a leading provider of luggage delivery services, is seeking a reliable and skilled Luggage Delivery Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for delivering passenger luggage safely and efficiently, utilizing a cargo van or box truck.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive delivery box truck safely and lawfully on highways and local streets.
  • Report daily delivery status to dispatcher and supervisors.
  • Maintain a clean and professional image while displaying strong time management skills.

Requirements:

  • At least 18 years old.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and a clean motor vehicle record.
  • Completed high-school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
  • Successfully pass the post-offer pre-employment screening, including FAA Airport required identification/seals or authorizations.
  • Follow company appearance guidelines.
  • Maintain a positive and upbeat attitude, even in heavy traffic and unusual driving conditions.
  • Hard working and self-motivated.
  • Ability to lift up to 70lbs.
  • Able to push a loaded luggage cart up to 500lbs.
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills required.

Appearance Guidelines:

  • Employees are expected to present a professional business-like image at all times.
  • With the exception of a fully-grown mustache, beard, or goatee, all men must be clean shaven.
  • No visible tattoos or body piercings are allowed.
  • Clean and well-maintained approved uniforms must be worn on shift.

Work Environment:

The employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers and to communicate with customers and fellow employees. The employee is frequently required to sit; reach with hands and arms; stand; walk. The employee is also frequently required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch. In addition, the employee is required to twist, turn, stretch, and bend on a frequent basis. The employee must be able to lift and move up to 75 pounds regularly. The employee must be able to move in a relatively quick manner. Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Peripheral vision, and Ability to adjust focus.
