Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Baggage Handler. As a key member of our airport operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient handling of luggage for our resort and cruise ship clients.



Key Responsibilities
  • Sort and deliver luggage to the correct resort or ship
  • Unload arriving luggage from the terminal and place it on the carousel for sorting
  • Scan luggage, load it into the correct cage, seal the cage, and deliver it to the dock
  • Identify damaged luggage upon arrival and take it to the Luggage Base
  • Load loose luggage for delivery to Port Canaveral


Requirements
  • At least 18 years of age or older
  • Ability to work rotating shifts
  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Pass a criminal background screening
  • Pass a drug screening
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills


Working Conditions

Employees are expected to present a professional business-like image at all times. This includes adhering to appearance guidelines, such as maintaining a clean and well-maintained uniform, and following management-approved requirements.



While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers, communicate with customers and fellow employees, and move in a relatively quick manner. The employee must be able to lift and move up to 75 pounds regularly.
